Many people want to know about the recent Apparition at Knock. There have been many reports and descriptions so let me try to tell you about what my family, neighbours and friends who were there have described to me.

Knock is in County Mayo in the West of Ireland. You can learn more about the 1879 Apparition at …………………. http://www.knock-shrine.com/

On Sunday 11th October around 30,000 people turned up for the prophetic apparition at Knock. A Dublin man named Joe Coleman who has had regular visits from Our Lady had told the people of Ireland through the media (newspapers, radio) that Our Lady had told him that She was going to appear at Knock on Sunday (11th Oct). 30,000 turned out for the event.

Around 3.10pm, thousands saw the sun dance, spin and change into a multitude of various colours and it grew everescently bright, very very bright. The colours were azures green, blue, pink, yellow, red, purple, orange and so forth. Then many saw it begin to spin out of the sky and plummet towards the people – people began praying loudly and many were also sobbing from their hearts. My sister Marian witnessed this at the back of the Apparition Chapel where she sat near the Glass Window there.

Joe Coleman announced to the people that this was similar to the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima.

My neighbour Patrick who is Pony Dealer, told me that he was at the front of the chapel beside the 3 Apparition Statues of St Joseph, Our Lady and St John. He noticed the woman beside him had basically gone into ecstacy. She told him that Our Lord had manifested himself beside Our Lady’s Statue. She said that Jesus stood there with His Hands outstretche and asked this woman ‘Where are my priests?’
None of the Knock priests were present.

At least six people saw Our Lady at the Gable Wall and one woman went on Mid-West Radio and told her story of Our Lady’s vision to her. The Blessed Mother told her that She came to ask people for prayer to stop the Third World War and that She, Our Lady would come two more times to Knock before Christmas.

I have spoken to people whom I consider to be of sound mind and they are all saying the same thing – that something magnificent had occurred at Knock. I also spoke to some of the B&B Owners as I know them from taking pilgrimages there and they too agreed that something supernatural happened on that Beautiful Sunday at Knock.

I believe all of these witnesses 100%! Good timing too by Our Lady after the dreadful Yes vote in the Lisbon Treaty. She also knows that the One World Plotters are about to impose their One World Dictatorship on us all with the significent signing of the Copenhagan Treaty in December which will move this Sinister Plot closer to our backdoor step. God help us!!!

Now Our Lady said She will come two more times to Knock before Christmas. Well the Good News is that She will be in Knock again on the Eve of All Saints, 31st October.
My friends and I have already booked our flights.

If you intend going, you better book now before all the flights are gone and indeed, before all the accommodation, beds in Knock are gone. There is only so much accommodation in Knock so book NOW! Irish people are taking the 31st Oct, a Saturday off work so that they can be in Knock for this great event. There was 30,000 there on the 11th Oct so you can expect 10 times as many to be there for the 31st Oct.”

THE VOICES IN THE HAIL MARY

Posted by william on Aug 1st, 2009

First, the Angel Gabriel says “Hail Mary, Full of Grace. The Lord is with You.” The Angel’s voice must have been otherworldly, yet beautiful, heard by no one but Mary. Then St. Elizabeth, with a mature woman’s voice said, “Blessed are you, among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” If creating a production of these voices, the Angel’s and Elizabeth’s would have to be clearly different one from the other to avoid any impression of their being the same and flowing together. The “Jesus” might be sung or otherwise enhanced to carry a strong impression of loving worship. A chorus might be used here, suggestive of the angelic choirs imagined serenading the shepherds out in the fields at the time of Christ’s birth.

The rest, “Holy Mary, Mother of God” and so on, to the Amen, might be done in loose combination of everyday voices, such as might be heard when a small mixed group is saying the Rosary. The Amen might also be included this way, although an emphatic finale could be achieved with some musical accompaniment here and an elaborately chanted Amen.

DEDICATION OF A STATUE

Posted by william on Jul 19th, 2009

Yesterday I went to a nearby parish to attend the dedication of a statue shipped here to Florida from the Philippines honoring Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, under another title, Our Lady of Antipolo. Rosary, outdoor procession, and Mass made up the service, which was well attended, including a fine Philippine-American presence. A 125-year old image of this representation of Mary may be seen at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. D.C., which is an exact reproduction of the original brought to the Philippines from Mexico in the year 1626. The statue I saw yesterday at St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish in Port Charlotte is distinguished from the original and the one in Washington by being of a uniform goldtone finish, not in multicolored garb as are the others, such as the one shown. HAIL MARY, HOLY MARY

Posted by william on Jul 15th, 2009

Ever notice that the first part of the Hail Mary, up to the point we bow our heads and say “Jesus,” can be seen as depicting Mary’s life in the world as a pure woman, at the Annunciation, the Visitation, and the Nativity, while the rest (”Holy Mary, Mother of God…”) might be seen as evoking her glorified role as Queen of Heaven, as we humbly ask for her powerful intecession? It is because of Jesus, of course, the intervening Word that has changed and does change all things –for her and for us and the world.

OUR LADY OF ATOCHA LEGEND

Posted by william on Dec 21st, 2008

Some years ago I got interested in the story of a Spanish sea vessel named ‘Nuestra Senora de Atocha’ that went down in a hurricane. It was carrying a cargo which included gold coins, and a modern day salvage hunter retrieved a cache of the coins and I don’t know what else. “Atocha” didn’t mean anything to me, and I had some curiosity about what lode of Spanish lore the owners of the vessel had drawn upon in selecting her name.
Last night a saw a rerun, er, ‘Classic’ episode of Mother Angelica’s show and she filled in some of the blanks. It seems there was a statue of the Blessed Mother in Spain dedicated to Our Lady of Atocha. Mary was holding the Baby Jesus. Baby Jesus was depicted holding a tiny bread basket and a water canteen.
It developed that one morning it was observed that the little sandals on the Baby Jesus’ feet were encrusted with mud. Unlike the kind of statues with which I am familiar, Mother said that European statues of that era were outfitted with actual items of clothing, such as the tiny sandals that were on the feet of the Baby Jesus.
The soil was cleaned away, but morning after succeeding morning the sacristan found the same condition repeated, with traces of mud even appearing on the hem of the Baby’s garment, so the sacristan hid in the darkness to observe who was violating the church’s property.
Behold and lo, that night he observed the Baby Jesus statue come to life and patter off from its location, out of the church.
It was somehow ascertained that He was bringing bread and water to imprisoned soldiers who had no family and friends to bring them sustinence. At that time the authorities didn’t provide food and water to such prisoners, and they had to depend on family and friends to bring them something. What a Friend they had in Jesus!
