FAITH BOOSTERS
We all share a single faith and love for one God. Still, I think each of us has come upon some way of advancing in our faith, or deepening it, that is purely individual or personal. It could be sharing loving moments within the family, studying religious art, listening to sacred music, visiting holy shrines, helping the poor, or any number of other steps toward a stronger religious experience.
For me. listening to apologists and defenders of the faith on talk radio seems to be the biggest ’shot in the arm’ for my faith, although those things I mentioned above are great for me too. There just seems to be great satisfaction in hearing someone who really knows the answers explain how things all fit together within the teaching of the Church, clearing away the fogs of doubt and seeming contradiction that unbelievers are constantly creating.
There are other faith boosters that play a part in my life. I’m contemplating writing about some more of them in future blogs.
