HOW I RUN MY SPIRITUAL LIFE GOOD

When I worked as a librarian I used to hear a dismissive characterization of some of the articles written for professional publications as basically nothing more than “How I Run My Library Good.” Every snob has his day.

I thought that here I could do some articles telling about some of the publications I read, the radio programs I try to catch, the Internet sites I enjoy visiting, saints I admire and am glad to have learned about, or music that I find inspiring.

MSN has a Catholic Friends group that has lots of thought-stimulating content and links to things one might not happen across elsewhere. There is also a Catholic Friends group I like a lot on the social site Multiply. These two groups are very different, and one will not replace the other – I profit from both. I believe that it is necessary to be a member of the respective parent outfits in order to participate, but it may be possible to visit and have a look at the groups without actually joining anything. If not, pity!
