GETTING THE BASICS STRAIGHT

I try to catch the daily “Food for the Journey” radio meditations broadcast by Sister Ann Shields, but the FM reception on my radio for a station 90 miles aways leaves a lot to be desired on occasion, so I only bat about .300. Today I found one of her thoughts especially valuable, something along the line of asking yourself am I being, as is urged in the scripture she quoted, kind, patient, peaceful, generous, loving? IF NOT WHAT IS WRONG

I like to listen mornings to the radio meditations given daily by Sister Ann Shields. Today’s made a big impression on me. Drawing on one of the scriptures, she suggested asking:

Am I actually being kind, patient, considerate, loving, peaceful — along the lines directed by the scripture? IF NOT, WHAT IS WRONG!
I don’t really remember the exact virtues and qualities she mentioned, or the particular scripture she was drawing upon; I suppose I should go to her website via the Renewal Ministries site and get these particulars straight by checking the archives of her shows…
