Furthermore…

I have a Polish-American lady friend whom I try to email every day. Every once in a while I can give my muse a rest when the Saint of the Day email service I receive posts an informative writeup on a Polish saint (today it was Blessed Rafal Chylinski).

I sometimes think my addressee sees my emails as diabolical drains on her already overtaxed time schedule, and surely reading the meaty, academic-sounding Saint of the Day presentations, even though about wonderful saintly Poles, as  even more outrageous time gobbling.

But I think she knows I do it out of long standing affection.
